After kayaking with the local marine life, we then visit the fairy penguins for their daily feeding before sitting down to enjoy a picnic lunch.

Welcome to Ranger Red’s Zoo & Conservation Park.
We are a boutique, hands-on zoo, in a lush setting on the banks of the Murray River. What makes Ranger Red’s Zoo & Conservation Park really unique is the ‘hands-on experience’ you get here. Hand feed the animals, hold a snake, pat a kangaroo, tickle a ferret… There are well over 150 species of birds and animals that will capture your imagination: koalas, wombats, dingoes, exotic birds, reptiles, spotted quolls, possums, owls… The huge walk-through aviary and Tasmanian Devils are star attractions.

Bring a hamper and take advantage of our FREE BBQ facilities. The Zoo is so tranquil, it’s actually therapeutic.
